Oregon State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section



The Mission of the Oregon State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Section is to encourage conflict resolution through the use of mediation and arbitration by:

  1. Providing training and education for ADR professionals;
  2. Providing ADR professionals with the tools necessary to help people in conflict to find resolution without expensive and time-consuming court or jury trials and appeals;
  3. Promoting diversity and inclusion in the training, development and selection of ADR providers and encouraging the elimination of discrimination and bias; and
  4. Advancing the use of alternative dispute resolution processes in courts, government, businesses and communities.
