ADR Rules and Forms
In Oregon, any lawsuit filed for $50K or less, needs to go to arbitration –or mediation in some counties—before it goes in front of a jury. Mediation is mandatory in all contested custody and parenting time cases unless waived by a judge (except for FAPA cases). Each county has its own rules regarding mediation, such as how soon the arbitration must be held, etc.
